M. L. Mantoo is a seasoned expert with over 45 years of experience in agriculture, infrastructure, and policy advisory. He serves as Senior Advisor to the Law Offices of India, offering strategic insights on rural development and sustainability. Mr. Mantoo has held advisory roles with government bodies and international institutions, including the Ministry of Rural Development and the Embassy of Israel in India.
As CEO of Ladakh Farmers & Producers Cooperative Ltd., he pioneered integrated development in cold desert regions and played a key role in corporate turnarounds such as that of Mysore Minerals Ltd. His leadership has been recognized globally, earning him the International Trailblazer Award (USA, 1993), the 8th Earth-care Award for innovation in climate protection (2018), and the SKOCH Award for Top Environmental Protection (2018).
